Appa - Avatar The Last Airbender

For this project I tried to recreate Appa, the flying bison from Avatar The Last Airbender in 3D.
It was a long journey from blocking out to finalizing the sculpt, texturing, grooming and rendering.
The biggest hurdle of the project turned out to be rendering in Houdini with Karma, since it was my first time. But after countless sleepless nights I'm proud to present my version of Appa from Avatar The Last Airbender : )
